Primarily, I work in soft pastels and oil paint. I will sometimes venture into charcoal as well, depending on what I am wanting to accomplish with the particular piece. I love soft pastels and feel I have the best command of that medium. Pastels can give such a soft and dreamy feel with layering and movability. The flexibility and ability to push the medium makes it fun for me.

I've always had an affinity for impressionism and tonalism. This can be seen in my work and I'm always striving to learn new technique and increase skill. ​​​​​​​
